Over the past week we put together a variety family learning activities and professional development workshops. Watch the videos below to see what each activity is, and download our instruction guides with additional resources online here.

Van Gogh Museum

Ready to travel? To virtually explore the world? Join us on a virtual field trip to the Van Gogh Museum! To follow along on this Virtual Field Trip, you will need a computer, Internet and use Google Maps – Street View. Kindergarten Kickstarter: Social Emotional Development

Is your preschooler ready for kindergarten? Let’s practice our skills to get along with others. By exploring emotions, your child is learning to share basic emotions and the difference between feelings and behaviors. You’re helping your child learn that feelings are okay, but behaviors might not be.

Take files with you by setting up a Google Drive account. Learn the basic of file organization and how you can access and save files from a variety of devices. Create a free Google account or sign in to your account to follow along with the class.

Simple Budgets Workshop

Learn about different Budget templates in Excel and the best one for your needs. Follow along by installing Microsoft Excel on your computer prior to the class. A free 30-day trial version of Excel is available.

STEAM Connections: Acid Rain

Acid rain forms when water vapor combines with sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide in the atmosphere to create sulfuric and nitric acids, and then falls down as precipitation – like rain, sleet and snow.
