Summer English Language Learning Opportunities

Would you like to improve your English language skills? Join us this summer for special English language programming at Plano Public Library.

English as a Second Language classes meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8:30 p.m. at Harrington and Parr Libraries. Learn to speak, read and write in English. The free classes start on May 2 and run through August 31. Registration is required; drop by Parr Library on May 3 at 5:30 p.m. to register or contact Collin Adult Education and Literacy at 972-349-4550 for more information.

For fun, informal English language conversation, connect with us online or in-person for weekly Small Talk sessions. Meet people from all over the world while discussing everyday topics. This program is limited to those who can speak and read English. Attend in person at Haggard Library on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. from May 3-August 30 and/or on Zoom on Wednesdays at 2 p.m. from May 4-August 31.
