Technology Classes in July

You can expect a variety of technology classes throughout the year at Plano Public Library. Here’s what’s coming up this July.

Unity: Basics

Tuesday, July 12 at 3pm
Learn the basics of game design in the Unity software
Ages 13+
Virtual class, registration required

In addition to the live Zoom class, we will stream to the library’s YouTube channel and keep the recording for future viewing. You can see our previous recording already up there from November 2021:

InDesign: Book Creation

Wednesdays, July 13-27 at 3pm
Join us for a three-part series on book creation in Adobe InDesign. Learn how to format your file using Book Files, Master Pages, styles and more.
Ages 13+

Website Development

Tuesdays, July 19-August 2 at 3pm
Students will explore the basics of website development while learning introductory programming skills. This three-week class takes a hands-on approach to learning web development using HTML.
Ages 10-18

Movie Maker Camp

July 25-29 from 3-5pm at Parr Library
Join us for a five-day camp to master movie magic using Lightworks and Audacity. Learn how to edit video, create sound effects and use a green screen. Attendance at all sessions is strongly encouraged.

Photoshop: Regal Pet Pawtraits

Monday, July 25 at 6:30pm
Have you ever wondered what your pet would look like as a Renaissance gentleman or lady? Attend this class and learn all the tools in Photoshop to transform your pet into a regal ruler.
