Consumer Reports on Flipster

Plano Public Library now has access to the Consumer Reports magazine through Flipster! This is the same as the print version of the magazine, and easily downloadable to your phone, tablet or computer. You can access back issues through March 2014.

With Consumer Reports magazine you can find advice on Best Buys, unbiased Ratings on thousands of products, and a wealth of information to help you make the best buying decisions for you and your family.

Flipster is one of the apps you have access to with your Plano Public Library card. This app has a variety of magazines you can download and read including Time Magazine, Atlantic Monthly, Essence, Book Page, Food & Wine and People. Download the Flipster app to your phone or tablet or access the browser-version on your computer. Learn more about using the app here.

As soon as you get to the library’s page on Flipster, you will see the magazine titles we have access to. This list shows the most recent edition.

Once you click on the magazine cover, Flipster will show you that issue as well as all issues available from that magazine.

Click the “Read now” button to open the magazine issue, in this case, the November/December 2023 Consumer Reports.

When you have the magazine open, there are a variety of settings and tools you can use to make your reading experience fit your needs.
