December Early Learning Programs
You’re never too little to learn! From babies to preschoolers, Plano Public Library offers a variety of early learning programs designed to help caregivers and children interact, learn and grow together.
Join us in December as we host several early learning programs. For ticketed programs, please visit the desk 30 minutes prior to the program to guarantee your space.

Ages 0-18 Months

Parachute Party (Ticketed)

Up, down, and round and round. Join us for rhymes and songs using giant parachutes.

Glow in the Dark Storytime
Wednesday, December 22 at 10:30 a.m. | Haggard Library
It’s “Lights Out” at the library! Stories, songs, dancing and illuminated art under the black lights. Wear something white or fluorescent so you glow. Please arrive on time as the room will be dark once the program begins.

Stories to inspire your little artist followed by a different hands-on activity each session. Things may get messy! Smocks and materials provided.

Storytime Around the World: Spanish
Thursday, December 16 at 10 a.m. | Harrington Library
Introduce your child to a new language! These bilingual storytimes introduce basic vocabulary words through stories, songs and movement activities. No language skills needed.
Noon Year’s Eve (Ticketed)
Friday, December 31 at 11 a.m. | Haggard, Parr, and Schimelpfenig Libraries
Celebrate the New Year early with hands-on activities and a countdown to 12:00 NOON!
