Welcome to PPL Pairings, the side of the blog where unexpected combinations can span from delightful to deranged – you be the judge! Below is a list of Dunkin’ fall menu items + materials from our library collection I would pair with each. Tread carefully through the list because OPINIONS MAY VARY.
Below are some helpful hints for sampling our *pairing menu*

Open minds yield exciting combinations. Give our pairing a “no thank you” bite, so to speak. If you don’t love it, that’s okay! Feel free to try something else, if your new pair is any good – PLEASE let us know

If you LOVE love the pair, obviously you should tell your friends! Community is VITAL in creating the best and most interesting fusions. Sooooo… share your opinions – get some feedback – & enjoy!
3. REMIX & REPEAT
Once you start trying unlikely pairings, you’ll catch the bug! Try fine-tuning some of these dynamic duos at home, work, with a book club or friend group. AND as always feel free to let us know if you strike gold.

Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte
An Education in Malice by S.T. Gibson
If you order a PSL you’re a trendsetter but never tire of a classic, we suggest pairing this punkin dunkin with an adaptation of the gothic, vampire-horror, Carmilla. Dunkin’ AND Starbucks offer versions of this drink, and the library offers varying versions of this story. It is fitting that the book + drink pairing fall into the “same idea different mix” category. Try out Gibson’s twist on this timeless tale

This offering sounds pretty intense. I feel that Vampire hunter Abe Lincoln would snack on Maple Sugar Bacon and for that reason… they are paired

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: The Graphic Novel
Classics with a twist – the unexpected element in each of these (chocolate chips, zombies, etc.) makes their end result all the more thrilling

Both sound a little out there… BUT I am not not intrigued and definitely would give these a try!

Spiders are indeed creepy, crawly, and give me goosebumps. I do NOT think they should adorn donuts, but I do think these selections deserve each other
