Genealogy: Archives Month

Check out how the Genealogy Center is celebrating Archives Month with the DFW Archives Bazaar.

The annual DFW Archives Bazaar is virtual throughout the month of October. Local archives and institutions will be promoted through the Bazaar’s web platforms, including Plano Public Library’s Genealogy Center:

With the help of many staff, we put together a video about the Genealogy Center for the DFW Archives Bazaar, so head to their website to see it live!

Note, as of this post, the Genealogy Center is closed to the public while the library offers limited services due to the pandemic.

With the Genealogy Center, you have access to extensive document and image collections (Collin County Images), and premium online resources like Ancestry Library Edition. Through December 2020, Ancestry Library Edition is available remotely. A library card is required to use library databases.
