How Lungs Work

As we breathe in – and out – our respiratory system is hard at work with help from the lungs. Breathe in very deeply. You will feel your chest getting slightly bigger. Now breathe out the air, and feel your chest opening up again. Today’s activity will help you understand what is going on inside your body as with take in or inhale oxygen and exhale, or breathe out, carbon dioxide.
