Plano Reads: Eclipse Recommendations
On April 8, 2024 the moon will pass between the Earth and the Sun, blocking the face of the Sun. This eclipse will make its way across the US, stretching from Texas to Maine. Plano will start to experience the eclipse at around 1:40pm. We will experience a total solar eclipse – this means that the sun will be blocked completely by the moon. The sky will darken like it is dusk.
All five Plano Library locations will host Solar Eclipse Spectaculars with STEAM activities for all ages and solar eclipse viewing. As you prepare for the eclipse, enjoy these books from the library!
