May Technology Classes

May-be you’re looking to learn about a new application, or maybe you’re just refreshing your tech skills. Whatever the case, Plano Public Library is here for you! Whether you’re getting creative with Adobe or leveraging Google Suite to build your small business, we have a class for you. Programs at the library are free and do not require a library card. Online programs require registration via Zoom. For ticketed programs, free tickets are available in person 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Virtual programs are recorded and posted on the library’s YouTube channel.

Adobe Creative Cloud

Illustrator: Logo Design

InDesign: Basics

Sunday, May 21 at 2pm at Harrington Library (Ages 13+, ticketed)

Learn how to set-up documents, navigate the workspace, panels, place images and more in InDesign.

Photoshop: Basics

Monday, May 22 at 6:30pm at Parr Library (Ages 13+, ticketed)

Learn how to navigate the workspace, toolbar and panels in Photoshop to create graphics.


Google Suite

Google Suite: Drive

Wednesday, May 5 at 3pm on Zoom (Ages 13+, registration required)

Learn how to use Google Drive to create, organize, and access your files on the go.  Create a free Google account or sign into your account to follow along with the class.

Learn the basics of Google Docs for collaboration and editing needs.  Create a free Google account or sign into your account to follow along with the class.
