November Technology Classes

You can expect a variety of technology classes throughout the year at Plano Public Library. Whether you’re looking to get started on 3D modeling or boost your digital skills, we have a class for you. Events at the library are free and do not require a library card. Virtual programs are recorded and posted on the library’s YouTube channel, so subscribe to be the first to know when new videos go live. 

The latest Engage brochure is available for downloading on the Plano Public Library website or you can pick up a printed copy at any of our five locations. You can also browse our upcoming events on our online calendar. Here’s what’s coming up this November. 

Essential Skills 

Google Forms: Survey Success 

Learn to create simple surveys to gather information from event registrations to client opinions in Google Forms, and how to organize and evaluate that data using spreadsheets created in Google Sheets. Sign into your free Google account or create one in advance to follow along.

Adobe Creative Cloud 

Premiere Pro: Color Correction 

Learn about color correcting and grading your videos with Lumetri Color

Photoshop: Photobashing Basics 

Learn to create digital art quickly through a technique called photo bashing in Photoshop.

Canva 

Canva: Basics & Branding  

Get an overview of the Canva workspace and build your brand kit with fonts, logos, and color swatches

3D Printing and Design 

Tinkercad: Design Basics 

Learn the basics of three-dimensional design using Tinkercad. Limited computers available. Attendees are welcome to bring their own device.

Intro to 3D Printing 

Learn about the additive manufacturing process to make three-dimensional objects and see a 3D printing machine.
