Library Events for Seniors
Exercise your mind at the library with events perfect for our senior community this December.
Memory Keepers, a monthly program at Plano Public Library, allows people experiencing early stage dementia, along with a family member or care partner, to share memories through guided prompts in a relaxed environment. This series is presented in partnership with Alzheimer’s Association.
The next session is on Wednesday, December 11 at 10 am at Haggard Library. If interested in attending, please call the Alzheimer’s Association at 800-272-3900 to register.
At our Connecting Seniors series at Haggard Library, attendees do all sorts of things! This social group gets together to share experiences and stories, explore hobbies, and exercise their brains with puzzles and trivia.
Connecting Seniors meets next on Wednesday, December 11 at 2:30 pm at Haggard Library. No registration required.
