Digital Creation at the Library
Your Plano Public Library has an interesting space for teens and adults to work on media projects like podcasts, photo editing and video creation: the Digital Creation Space!
Two of our five locations have a Digital Creation Space. These rooms have computers with Adobe Creative Cloud, green screens and various media equipment like cameras, microphones, drawing tablets and sound keyboards. You can read more information about these spaces and hours on our Digital Creation Space page.
With your Plano Public Library card you have access to this space, just be sure you have marked on your application you want to use this space and understand the rules. If you need to update your application, stop by any of our five libraries and our staff can help you out! If you need a library card, you can sign up on our website here.

We also teach technology classes in the Digital Creation Spaces, including how to light a space and edit photos, create and edit videos, record a voice-over demo and Cricut workshops. All classes are ticketed/first come-first serve due to number of computers. Upcoming, you can learn:
- Digital Painting, October 14 at 7 pm at Parr Library (ages 13+)
- Ren’Py 101, October 23 at 7 pm at Parr Library (ages 13+)
- Photoshop: Storyboarding, October 28 at 7 pm at Parr Library (ages 13+)
