April Technology Classes

Whether you need a spring refresh of your technology skills or want to learn something new, Plano Public Library is here for you. From building basic skills to exploring new hobbies, we have a class for you. Programs at the library are free and do not require a library card. For ticketed programs, free tickets are available in person 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Online programs require registration via Zoom. Virtual programs are recorded and posted on the library’s YouTube channel

Audition: Podcasting Basics 

Tuesday, April 4 at 3pm on Zoom (Adults, registration required

Learn the basics of audio editing in Adobe Audition for podcasting. 


LinkedIn for Business: Strategy & Resources 

Wednesday, April 5 at 3pm on Zoom (Adults, registration required

Review available resources for content creators, entrepreneurs and small businesses through LinkedIn, and develop your personal plan for utilizing LinkedIn for business needs. 


Word: Basics 

Thursday, April 13 at 6:30pm at Schimelpfenig Library (Adults, ticketed) 

Learn how to navigate Word, create and save documents, and perform basic formatting tasks 


Intro to 3D Printing 

Saturday, April 22 at 3pm at Parr Library (All ages, ticketed) 

Learn about the additive manufacturing process to make three-dimensional objects and see a 3D printing machine.
