Did you know that your Plano Public Library card also has access to databases? One of those databases is Lynda.com, which offers a variety of courses to choose from, including Excel basics. You can view their Creating a Simple Excel Budget video once you log in using your library card.

If online classes aren’t your thing, you can check out books from your nearest Plano Public Library location. Here are a couple of items that we offer:
- Microsoft Excel Formulas and Functions by Kenn Bluttman
- Financial Literacy Basics: How to Make and Stick to a Budget from Weiss Ratings
For more materials, you can take advantage of our Grab & Go services to find Excel books in the non-fiction area, (Dewey Decimal section 005s) or budgeting books (in the 332s). You can also place holds on items through our online catalogue and use our porch pick-up services.
