February Book Clubs

Ready to fall in love with a book this month? Try a book club this February at the Plano Public Library.

Join us for reading and conversation in February! Make new friends while discussing your reading choices. There is no registration required for book clubs. Below are the February book club dates and reading selections:


February 3 from 1-2:30 pm at Haggard Library, What Are You Reading Now? will discuss books you have been reading recently.


February 10 from 7-8 pm at Harrington Library, Young@Heart Book Club is reading Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford. Copies  are available in these formats: Print| eBook| eAudiobook| Audiobook| Large Print


February 11 from 7:15-8:30 pm at Schimelpfenig Library, Second Tuesday Book Club will discuss The Leavers by Lisa Ko.  This book is part of the Collin College Book in Common Program.  The Book in Common program aims to create a community of adult readers, promote discussion and spark conversations featuring different perspectives and diverse opinions. February 13 from 7-8:30 pm at Davis Library, Chinese Book Talk will discuss great books you’ve read written in Chinese. FYI, we have books in Chinese available at Davis and Haggard Library, as well as online through the Libby app.


February 20 from 7-8:30 pm at Davis Library, Mystery Book Club is reading The Passenger by Lisa Lutz. Copies are available in these formats: Print | eBook


February 27 from 12-1:30 pm at Parr Library, Brown Bag Book Club will discuss Thirteen days in September : Carter, Begin, and Sadat at Camp David by Lawrence Wright. Copies are available in these formats: Print| eBook| eAudiobook | Audiobook
